Milan Seniors for Healthy Living
Join me Ash Eichner Pendell of Moon Mama LLC for a guided imagery meditation. I am a certified practitioner in Art & Horticultural Therapies as well as Meditation. I am also a Mama, artist, writer, and avid gardener. As I have moved through my own journey of growing as a human, anxiety, and depression I found the benefits of meditation, connecting with nature and nourishing creativity to be so healing. I want to share that with you.
Meditation helps to lower stress and anxiety, promotes better rest, can improve focus, encourages emotional health, fosters empathy and kindness, and allows you to connect with your own body, mind, and spirit. Using breathwork and visualization techniques I will guide you through the meditation while bringing gentle attention to your body. I use crystals to amplify the energetic environment. I also use frequency healing to provide an additional layer of relaxation and interconnectedness. This meditation is perfect for beginners and people of all skill levels. Come take a deep breath and relax with me. Starting September 1, 2026.

Autumn Hike

Draper Houston Meadows Preserve
Join me Ash from Moon Mama for a lovely hike through the woods of Draper Houston Meadows Preserve. You will get to know a little more about our preserve and the species that call it home as well as nurturing your spirit by being out in nature. We will also be on the lookout for mushrooms to ID. It is always a nice time. I do hope you can join me. Bring along your binoculars and mushroom guides if you have them.
It is recommended that you dress for the hike as it is Autumn in Michigan and it can be wet and muddy. Layers and waterproof footwear are recommended. All ages are welcome. Pre-registration is required- https://forms.gle/B9B5L6BfsmU8W2B69

Spell Jar Workshop

Join me Ash from Moon Mama for a meditation and spell jar workshop. We will be weaving a spell and creating our own spell jars inspired by the dark of the season and Hekate’s Night. All supplies will be provided for you. You just bring your intentions and intuitions.
What to expect:
In this workshop we will discuss the Goddess Witch Hekate and Hekate's Night- November 16th. It is a night for deep spiritual work. Connecting with her energy allows you the opportunity to better understand your own journey, find healing and let go of the parts of yourself that are no longer serving you.
We will do a brief body scan meditation to deepen our connection and then move into creating our own unique spell jars to honor the season.
I look forward to connecting with you and sharing the beautiful greenhouse space.

Seed Swap

Hey fellow gardeners! Mark your calendars for my fifth annual Seed Swap!
You are invited to bring seeds you would like to swap. You are invited if you do not have seeds to swap. You will have seeds to share next year. There is always lots to share! Gardening is so healing for the soul. It is a great chance to not only swap seeds but also share tips and stories with fellow gardeners in our community.
For those bringing seeds to swap-
*Please be sure your seeds are free from mold or infestation.
*Please have your plant/crop seeds labeled.
*It is always nice to share information about best planting practices or what has and hasn't worked well for you by chatting with fellow gardeners.
*If you plan to bring a bulk container of seeds please make it clear how many seeds are allowed to be taken per gardener with a label or sign.
*Please be kind and only take what you will use.
*Don't be shy. Ask questions and let's talk gardening!
Tables will be labeled for easy browsing. There will be seed packets (while supplies last) and writing utensils available.
